THE LOVE STORY Ross is thrilled when the brilliant new professor at his school turns out to be smokin' hot Charlie, but he's devastated when Joey nabs her first. She ultimately realizes Ross is a better intellectual match for her, but just as their relationship is blossoming, she tosses it aside by passionately kissing her Nobel-prizewinning ex (Greg Kinnear) in front of Ross.
