THEIR LOVE STORY At the beginning of the first season, Janice is Chandler's on-again, off-again gal pal. Though he often tries to get rid of her (once by lying about being transferred to Yemen), he continues to hook up with her repeatedly between girlfriends. Janice also dates Ross briefly when he's on the rebound from his second wife, Emily. Meanwhile, her braying laugh and nasal voice make Janice an endless source of amusement (and annoyance) to all the Friends.
