''It's the most-asked question I get,'' says Jeff Gaspin, president of Bravo, home of ''Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.'' '''When are you going to do one for women?' We are answering that call.'' Gaspin tells USA Today that the channel will launch ''Queer Eye for the Straight Girl'' early next year, in which a new team of gay men will advise style-challenged hetero women. Gaspin says the new Fabs may number fewer than five, to leave room for a celebrity guest expert or two.

''QE2'' is one of several new reality shows Bravo will announce at its upfront presentation to advertisers on Wednesday in New York. Another is ''Project Greenlight,'' which moves over to Bravo after two seasons on HBO. Also on the slate: ''Pilot Season,'' a ''Greenlight''-like show produced by ''Will & Grace'''s Sean Hayes, in which contestants will submit scripts for TV series pilot episodes, with viewers voting on the winner. In ''Blow Out,'' producers of ''The Restaurant'' will offer a similar behind-the-scenes view of the opening of a Beverly Hills beauty salon. And supermodel Heidi Klum will host ''Project Runway,'' a reality competition for would-be fashion designers. Sounds like a show with crossover potential for the stars of the ''Queer Eye'' series.
