The 2001 debut by Eminem's crew D12 felt like a payback favor to his old Detroit posse. So it's a welcome surprise that the six-man act's follow-up, D12 World, is more than just another rhyme session between after-parties. Shock tactics and chest thumping still predominate, but satirical cuts like ''Just Like U'' and the fatalistic ''Good Die Young'' give this spit session much-needed polish.
