Watch out, Fox News: Here comes Gore TV. Former Vice President Al Gore is starting a cable network aimed at young adults. An investment group chaired by Gore has purchased a 24-hour news channel called Newsworld International, according to a press release from the group. The network, which currently airs news from the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., will be an ''independent voice in this industry,'' Gore said at a news conference, according to AP.

''This is not going to be a liberal network, a Democratic network, or a political network,'' said Gore, adding that its programming will be aimed at adults between the ages of 18 to 34.Currently, Newsworld International is carried in about 14 million North American homes. Gore, who will spend most of his time running the network, didn't say whether former Vermont governor Howard Dean's proposed talk show might be among it's offerings.
