EW's TV critic on what baffles him
What show's popularity -- with audiences and critics -- baffles you? -- Kate M.
This elegantly direct question is trickier than it sounds, since it contains three elements: critics' faves that are hits that I dislike. There aren't many (I enjoy stuff like ''CSI'' and ''Law & Order,'' for example). But here's one: ''The King of Queens'' has always been a shoulder shrugger for me. It's not bad; Kevin James is funnier as a stand-up; Leah Remini knows how to do brassy bombshell just fine; Jerry Stiller is too loud -- but who cares? Well, millions do, as do colleagues who put it on top 10 lists. Consider me officially baffled.
