Season finale 9-10PM One Tree Hill (The WB, TV-14-DLS) The ladies -- they love their Chad Michael Murray. If you consider screaming teenage girls to be ladies, that is. In any event, they'll be tuning in en masse (okay, that may be pushing it) to see if CMM is as hot on the court as he is on their wall posters when he leads his hoops squad into the play-offs. Swish!

8-9PM American Idol (Fox, TV-G) Sorry, but I'm still feeling the pain from Latin night.

9-10PM Dateline NBC Special (NBC) For the third time in a month, the ''news'' magazine pathetically spends an entire hour promoting an NBC finale -- in this case, ''Frasier.'' What's next: ''Dateline: Whoopi''? (Don't even think about it, Peacock!)

9-10PM 24 (Fox, TV-14-V) Jack threatens to put Saunders' daughter in danger, but by subjecting her to what? Stray cougars? Psycho wife beaters? ''American Idol'''s Latin night on a continuous loop?

10-11PM The Shield (FX, TV-MA) Aceveda puts on a hooded sweatshirt and gets all ''street justice'' on us.
