This patchwork of outtakes, demos, live tracks, and four new songs isn’t going to change anyone’s mind about Jane’s Addiction -— you either buy into Perry Farrell’s Robert Plant-does-Fagin shtick or you don't. The new material's updated ambient sheen turns them into a funkier Porno for Pyros, which makes you wonder: Why bother with a reunion?
