The only thing more fascinating than seeing Charlize Theron play Aileen Wuornos in ''Monster'' is watching the killer herself in Nick Broomfield's riveting doc Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer (a follow-up to his 1992 ''Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer''). Broomfield provides extraordinary access to the last 18 months of Wuornos' life, including courtroom footage, a tour of her old haunts, numerous conversations with friends and relatives, and, most devastatingly, Wuornos' final interview before her execution in Starke, Fla., on Oct. 9, 2002. Just try to look away.
