It has a rowdy, jumpin'-jive vivacity. You can feel the animators working too hard to turn Shrek (Mike Myers) into a self-doubting monster again, but they're still madcap masters of the free-association zap. As the voice of Puss-in-Boots, Antonio Banderas has a hilarious, rapid-fire panache.
