What do reality stars and beauty have in common? Not much, but participants from ''The Apprentice'' and ''Survivor'' both attended the 10th Annual Cosmetic Executive Women Awards and snagged some free loot

At the 10th Annual Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) Awards -- the Oscars of the beauty biz -- winners don't thank publicists, agents, or managers; they thank lab technicians, package-design teams, and sales reps. Nonetheless, celebs from ''Queer Eye for the Straight Guy'''s Carson Kressley to the ladies of ''The Apprentice'' turned out to honor beauty products at what Kressley jokingly referred to as ''the Glammys,'' held at New York's Waldorf-Astoria May 21 and hosted by ''Queer Eye'''s grooming guru, Kyan Douglas. ''Apprentice'' wannabe Heidi Bressler had a few regrets about her overdone look on the show (''I wore blue eyeliner and red lipstick!''), while ''Survivor'''s Jenna Morasca confessed she'd tried to get Mark Burnett to let her bring lip gloss as a luxury item, ''but he wouldn't have it.''

Beauty companies from large (L'Oreal, Clinique) to small (Bourjois, Biotherm) competed in categories like Best Women's Scent, Best Facial Moisturizer, and Best Mask, Peel, Scrub. But the big winner was Estee Lauder (whose namesake founder died April 24) and its subsidiaries -- Clinique and M.A.C among them -- which scored 11 wins, including Best Eye Product, and drew hisses from peeved competitors. The only person demanding a recount? Kressley, who objected to the not-quite-right syllable count in the name of Avon's Haiku Awakenings scent: ''That's not haiku, Avon,'' he said of the 11-syllable-shy moniker. ''Go back to the drawing board!''
