All About

Courteney Cox

At long last, the stork came for Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette. After many attempts, the couple finally had a child, a girl they named Coco, on Sunday, People reports. No birth weight was released. The child was born at a Los Angeles hospital, a day after Cox went into labor on Saturday, the couple's fifth anniversary. It's the first child for both Cox, 39, and Arquette, 32.

The couple, who met and married over the course of the ''Scream'' movies, had been trying to start a family for years, but Cox had suffered several miscarriages. Cox even allowed her difficulty in carrying a child to term to be written into a storyline for her ''Friends'' character, with Monica and Chandler finally becoming parents in May's series finale via a surrogate mother. Last fall, Cox became pregnant through in vitro fertilization. The girl arrived just in time for Cox's 40th birthday on Tuesday -- a pretty hard present to top.
