MUSTWORTHINESS The series' first season (now on DVD) is the deadpan, unscripted ''COPS'' parody that even cops like.
EXCEPT FOR THIS COP ''We film in a working sheriff's station,'' says Thomas Lennon, who plays the short-shorted Lieutenant Dangle, ''and a female sergeant filed an official complaint to ask if I would please stop bending over.''
OFFICER UNDERCOVER Despite a cast consensus, Lennon's ''gun'' cannot be seen out of its ''holster'' in the opening credits. ''But in the opening credits of season 2, I'm fully nude...with a mud mask on.''
NEXT A sophomore season now on Comedy Central.
