Maria Mena, an 18-year-old half-Norwegian singer-songwriter, represents the umpteenth coming of Alanis Morissette and possesses, by far, the uncanniest vocal similarities to the Canadian song-bird. More impressively, Mena nails the quality most responsible for her elder's initial success: She's got hooks on White Turns Blue you could hum for days. From the orchestral power-pop of ''Just a Little Bit'' to the confessional thunder of ''Take You With Me,'' Mena delivers galvanizing melodies, keeping the clunky wordplay Morissette is so fond of to a minimum.
