It's a weekend of weddings for Quaid, Spelling. The ''Day After Tomorrow'' star marries a Texas realtor, while Tori weds a fellow actor at daddy's famous mansion in 90210

July 4 was Interdependence Day for both Dennis Quaid and Tori Spelling. The ''Day After Tomorrow'' star and the ''Beverly Hills 90210'' alumna each picked the holiday weekend for their respective nuptials. Quaid wed Texas realtor Kimberly Buffington on July 4, his publicist announced, while Spelling's rep announced that she wed fellow actor Charlie Shanian on July 3 at papa Aaron Spelling's famous 90210-area mansion.

According to his rep, Quaid, 50, wed Buffington, 32, at an undisclosed location in Montana, with Jack Henry Quaid, his 12-year-old son by Meg Ryan, serving as his best man. Quaid had met Buffington in Austin, Texas, through a mutual friend in March 2003. The pair announced their engagement just last month. It's the third trip down the aisle for Quaid, who was married to Ryan from 1991 to 2001 and to his ''Breaking Away'' costar P.J. Soles from 1978 to 1983.

It was the first wedding for both Spelling, 31, and Shanian, 34, who met two years ago when she costarred with him in the actor-playwright's two-person play ''Maybe, Baby It's You'' in Los Angeles. They became engaged in November and told USA Today in May that they would wed in Malibu, apparently to throw the paparazzi off the scent of the real venue, ''90210'' producer Aaron's sprawling Beverly Hills home. USA Today reports that the bride wore a white lace gown that she designed herself. Among the 400 guests were Spelling's ''90210'' pals Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, and Tiffani Theissen, as well as a raft of senior-Hollywood types who might have guest-starred on Aaron's ''Love Boat,'' including Bob Newhart, Suzanne Pleshette and husband Tom Poston, Ed McMahon, Don Rickles, Paul Anka, Stefanie Powers, and Jackie Collins. Michael Feinstein performed, and Wolfgang Puck catered the menu, which included a beet-and-goat-cheese salad, artichoke ravioli, lamb, fish, and a lemon soufflé. Can't get food like that at the Peach Pit.
