Magnum P.I.: The Complete First Season (2004)

He's hunky, he's mustachioed, and he drives a red Ferrari. He's Thomas Magnum, the tight-jeans-wearing action hero. A burnt-out soldier, he finagles a guesthouse on a Hawaiian estate after leaving his elite band of brothers for a little beach time and crime solving. It would all be perfect if not for his British foil Higgins (John Hillerman), caretaker of the property and thorn in Magnum's paw. Aided by his equally firmly packed sidekicks Rick (Larry Manetti) and T.C. (Roger E. Mosley), Tom Selleck infuses Magnum with self-deprecating humor and hairy-chested beefcakery while solving nefarious island capers, usually concluding with him planting a smooch on a damsel in distress.

EXTRAS All 18 eps are fun, but the bonus disc is the big kahuna: A crossover show with Simon & Simon, guest-starring small-screen queen Morgan Fairchild! Plus, Sharon Stone playing twins!
