Warner Bros. execs have turned down an antiwar documentary made by filmmaker David O. Russell, 46, that he intended to include on the upcoming DVD rerelease of his 1999 movie Three Kings. ''We decided it was inappropriate to politicize Three Kings, which has its own very strong message, by attaching the documentary,'' says a rep, who called the doc ''a political polemic.'' The studio has given Russell permission to release the film independently, à la Fahrenheit 9/11. The filmmaker could not be reached for comment.
