Janice Dickinson may think she's the star of America's Top Model but it's her rival, Tyra Banks, who's parlayed her Model stardom into her very own talk show. Banks is developing a syndicated, Oprah-style show for a fall 2005 debut, according to the trade paper reports. Banks is expected to target a younger generation than, say, Winfrey. ''She's really emerged as a role model for the next generation of young women,'' Jim Paratore, president of the company behind the show, Telepicture Productions, told the Hollywood Reporter.
The third season of the UPN's America's Top Model debuted last week, with 14 new models aspiring to stardom (and facing Dickinson's insults along the way). The show has led to numerous Oprah appearances for Banks, which helped inspire the idea for the talk show. It remains to be seen, however, if audiences will go insane when Banks yells, ''Everyone gets a makeover! Everyone gets a makeover!''
