Earlier this year, Bening wrapped another juicy drama, Mrs. Harris, about the sensational murder of the ''Scarsdale Diet'' doctor (played by Ben Kingsley). But in the meantime, we're likely to see her on the awards circuit yet again for Julia. ''I have been through it, so I have fewer illusions about it, that's for sure,'' says Bening, who was also nominated for 1990's The Grifters. Nevertheless, that hasn't stopped her from making campaign stops in Toronto, Boston, Spain, New York, and Chicago. ''What I look forward to,'' she says, leaning back on the sofa, ''is just for life to quiet down again.''
