Unlike many of their platinum punk peers, Simple Plan haven't lost their sense of humor — just check out that album title, Still Not Getting Any.... Joining forces with legendary producer Bob Rock (Metallica), the Montreal-based quintet serves up ear candy like ''Welcome to My Life,'' which has a gooey, angst-ridden center but is as bouncy as it is sincere. Life may be complicated for Avril Lavigne's favorite opening act, but they're smart enough to understand that sometimes music shouldn't be.
