Lindsay Lohan had to halt production of her movie about a famous Volkswagen Beetle because she came down with a bug. People.com reports that the 18-year-old has been hospitalized since Thursday with a mysterious ailment. Her publicist, Leslie Sloane, confirmed that the actress was under medical observation and had run a fever as high as 103 degrees. She was so sick that she's had to miss shooting days on her movie Herbie: Fully Loaded, as well as a TV shoot for her upcoming cameo on That '70s Show, opposite real-life beau Wilmer ''Fez'' Valderrama.
According to People, Lohan had been ailing since last Monday. On Tuesday, she called in sick to the set of the Herbie remake. ''She was wiped out when she went into the hospital,'' Sloane told People.com. ''She's going to stay till they figure out what she has and she starts to feel better.''
It's possible her ailment is stress-related; besides her daytime work on Herbie and her scheduled sitcom gig over the weekend, she'd been spending her nights recording her first album. ''We're waiting to see how Lindsay is going to be feeling to see if we can reschedule a time to shoot her scene,'' a spokesman for That '70s Show told USA Today.
