Sweetly morbid dreams of a better world abound on this politically motivated release, eMOTIVe in which Tool frontmope Maynard James Keenan turns the words of others to his own dark but peace-loving purpose. Thus does Depeche Mode's ''People Are People'' transform into a Goth carnival and Marvin Gaye's ''What's Going On'' morph into a whispered, sweeping plea that sticks in the ear a whole lot longer than the album's two original tracks.
