The concept is harmless enough: Ray cozies up to the likes of Dennis Franz, Mekhi Phifer, and Morgan Freeman in settings like Franz's kitchen and Freeman's blues club. But watching her grin inanely, chirping ''That's so cool!'' as Franz (left, with Ray) chats about his life as a mailman while they whip up crab cakes could make you a little queasy. B- —Abby West
