Oscar winner Julia Roberts has unveiled not one, but two new productions, nearly a month before their anticipated release date. Roberts and her husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, welcomed twins — a girl named Hazel Patricia Moder and a boy named Phinnaeus Walter Moder — on Sunday at a Southern California hospital, according to her spokesperson Marcy Engelman. Both mother and babies are resting comfortably.

Roberts, 37, was confined to bed rest in November when she began having early contractions. As a result, she has been unable to promote her two films opening this month: Closer, costarring Jude Law and Natalie Portman (Dec. 3), and Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's Twelve (Dec. 10), a sequel to the 2001 hit starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

Roberts and Moder were married in July 2002. Hazel and Phinnaeus are the couple's first children.
