FAR FROM 'DESPERATE' ''Housewives'' ranked first across all demographics Thanksgiving week
Desperate Housewives: Danny Feld

ABC must be thankful that Thanksgiving falls on a Thursday. People ate turkey and, uh, napped instead of watching CBS' powerhouse lineup, making Desperate Housewives' ''Who's gonna die?'' episode the most-watched show of the week — across all demographic age groups. Not even the Thanksgiving-night trifecta of CBS' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (No. 2), Survivor: Vanuatu (No. 10), and Without a Trace (No. 4) could dethrone ABC's new queens of primetime.

Not that CBS cares. The Eye dominated eight of the top 10 spots of the week with CSI: Miami (No. 3), Cold Case (No. 9), 60 Minutes (No. 8), and sitcoms Two and a Half Men (No. 5) and Everybody Loves Raymond (No. 6). Besides Housewives, ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (No. 7) was the only other show to crack the CBS top-10 juggernaut.

Needless to say, CBS won the total-viewers race, with 13.9 million to ABC's 11.1 million, NBC's 10 million, and Fox's 9.6 million.
