"Good Will Hunting" wins the video battle among Oscar contenders

It took two-time Academy Award winner "Good Will Hunting" to knock fellow Oscar champ "As Good As It Gets" from the top of the video rental charts. In its first week on tape, "Hunting," a nine-time nominee and winner for Best Supporting Actor (Robin Williams) and Best Original Screenplay, scored the largest one-week rental gross since May ($7.54 million). Seven-time nominee "As Good as It Gets" ($2.83 million) fell to fifth place, after topping the video charts for the past seven weeks. Other Oscar-nominated films doing well on video: "Wag the Dog" (#2) and "Amistad" (#7).
