Shed a tear for the ladies of Lilith: Sarah McLachlan will pull the plug on her yearly femme-fest after this summer's tour, the third for the hugely successful extravaganza (which grossed $34.4 million in 1998). McLachlan's Lilith partner, promoter Marty Diamond, says the singer always viewed the fair as "a three-year mission.... We don't want some fan in Chicago saying, 'Oh, God, not Lilith again.'" Diamond says the final tour will feature "some of the usual suspects and some eclectic stretches." But fear not: McLachlan and Diamond are planning Lilith-type events in Europe, so start saving plane fare.
