COLLECTIVE AGE 76 -- Identical twins Keavy and Edele Lynch are both 19, Sinead O'Carroll is 20, and Lindsay Armaou is 18.

WHY YOU KNOW THEM Their first Stateside hit, "C'est La Vie," is sitting at No. 17 on Billboard's Hot 100, plus they're blossoming megastars in their native land, having snagged three No. 1 hits ("C'est La Vie," "Roller Coaster," and "To You I Belong," all from their self-titled debut album) in the last year.

HOW SPICY ARE THEY? According to the girls, they ain't no Irish Spice. "(The comparison) doesn't bother us, but I think we're different in every way," Keavy Lynch tells EW Online. Such as? "Our personalities are different. Our look is different." Insists Armaou, "The only comparison really is that we're a girl band."

VISIONS IN BLUE JEANS Leave the peek-a-boo cleavage and hiked-up schoolgirl skirts to Britney Spears. "The U.K. named us the first tomboy band ever," says Lynch. "We always wear denim." Why? "It's just our image as a band. It looks good, and the kids can relate to it really well. If you want to look like a B*witched, just go out and get a pair of jeans."

CUTE FACTOR 8 out of 10

WHY THEY WON'T BE OPENING FOR MARILYN MANSON "I don't know his music or anything about him," shrugs Lynch. "But the Backstreet Boys and N' Sync and all, I think they're great." Alanis Morissette and Mariah Carey also get a thumbs up.

FAMOUS RELATIVES Shane Lynch, the Vanilla Ice look-alike of Europop band Boyzone, is the twins' older brother. While the bands have toured together and share the same producer, Ray Hedges, the girls claim Big Bro has been completely hands-off. "He never really gave us any advice," says Lynch. "Just watching him and seeing how much we'd have to be away from home and how hard we'd have to work was a great help to us."

IF THIS BAND WERE SUPERHEROES THEY WOULD BE The Cartoon Network's deceptively cuddly superheroes, The Powerpuff Girls

WHY YOU CAN'T HATE THEM Keavy carts around a bunny hot-water bottle wherever she goes. She's even named the thing Mad, an amalgamation of Mum and Dad, because it looks after her. Aww.
