KID FLICK To correct TV's woeful underplaying of his case, CBS is planning a two-part TV movie about the Elián Gonzalez story, possibly to air during November sweeps. According to CBS president Leslie Moonves, the movie will follow the 6-year-old's tragic trip to Florida, the custody battle between his dad and Miami relatives, and the larger political battle surrounding the case. So far, no script has been written and no one's been cast. And there's no word on whether Haley Joel Osment can learn Spanish or be sufficiently tan by the start of shooting.
NEW RECORDS Britney Spears' new single ''Oops!... I Did It Again'' was added to the play lists of 155 radio stations in its first week, according to the trade ''Radio & Records,'' barely squeaking past the former record holders 'N Sync, whose ''Bye Bye Bye'' got 154 adds in its first week to radio. Now to really kick the boys in their record-breaking butts, Spears just needs to sell 2.42 million of her sophomore album its first week of release.
FAMILY FEUD According to Q magazine, Mariah Carey's sister Alison alleges in a forthcoming book (''Mariah and Me'') that she helped fund Mariah's early career by working as a prostitute. Alison states: ''Mariah tells the world about five percent of the truth about herself. This book contains the other 95 percent -- everything a vain and heartless multimillionaire pop icon will do anything not to have told.'' With family like this, who needs the tabloids?

Carrie-Anne Moss has signed to rejoin Keanu Reeves for the two ''Matrix'' sequels to be filmed back-to-back over a 250-day shoot next fall.... Jim Caviezel (''The Thin Red Line'') is in negotiations to replace Aaron Eckhart in Warner Brothers' ''Angel Eyes'' starring Jennifer Lopez.... SMALL SCREEN Mimi Rogers (''The X-Files'') will pair with Geena Davis for ABC's female buddy sitcom pilot ''Lost and Found''.... ''The Sopranos''' Lorraine Bracco will star in ''Custody of the Heart,'' a divorce drama TV movie for Lifetime.... And the unlikely pair of Whoopi Goldberg and Barbra Streisand will executive produce ''What Makes A Family,'' a lesbian-themed TV movie, also for Lifetime. As long as the two don't duet for the soundtrack, we're cool with it.
