Sims wouldn't comment on the threat -- which apparently came via letter -- but sources close to the site creator said it's unknown whether Bigbrotherblows.com will surface with or without the video feeds. Shortly before the reality show launched on CBS, Sims' fledgling companion site featured a bulletin board and updates on similar ''Big Brother'' series in Netherlands, Germany, and Spain.
Sims is also the creator of the popular Survivorsucks.com, which has accurately predicted the last four participants (Ramona, Dirk, Joel, and Gretchen) to be kicked off the island on CBS' ''Survivor.'' The number of hits on Survivorsucks.com has grown from 15,000 to 250,000 per week.
In previous interviews, Sims says he isn't in it for the money (his site features only a limited number of ads) as much as to keep a community of reality show fanatics together. He first attracted the group after launching Realworldblows.com two years ago. ''It kind of took on a life of its own,'' Sims told EW.com about Survivorsucks.com. CBS wouldn't comment, but spokesman Chris Ender has said the Eye ''loves'' Survivorsucks.com and Bigbrotherblows.com.
