'CLUB' LAND Cain's playing for the other side in ''Broken Hearts''
Someone
How do you sell a romantic comedy about a bunch of gay guys (including Dean Cain and Timothy Olyphant) who play together on a weekend baseball team? Push the sports angle! Thus, Screen Gems morphed ''The Broken Hearts Club,'' the debut feature from 27 year old ''Dawson's Creek'' coexec producer Greg Berlanti, into the more ESPN friendly ''Broken Hearts League.'' But -- now here's where it gets murky -- the release date was then pushed back, the original title returned, and the very ESPN unfriendly subtitle ''A Romantic Comedy'' added. Huh?
