'GUN' SLINGERS Criminals Phillippe (l.) and Del Toro go ballistic

From McQuarrie (a screenwriting Oscar winner for ''The Usual Suspects'') comes a heist flick about two inept crooks (Phillippe, Del Toro) who kidnap a pregnant surrogate mom (Lewis). The problem? The Mob connected biological parents send two thugs (Taye Diggs and Nicky Katt) after them.
''Everywhere I went, people were working to get me to make another crime film,'' laughs McQuarrie, who watched Phillippe gain 25 pounds of muscle for his part. ''So I set out to make a crime film in a way that no one would ever ask me to make another crime film again.''
