This Sunday night, the Sci Fi Channel presents the first night of ''Frank Herbert's Dune,'' a six hour miniseries starring William Hurt. The first adaptation of Herbert's seminal futuristic novel since David Lynch's 1984 film, Sci Fi's ''Dune'' was made by veteran producers of ambitious miniseries.
