Music Review

Snatch (2012)

EW's GRADE
B+

Details Lead Performance: Various Artists; Genre: Soundtracks

For the Snatch soundtrack, director (and Madonna hubby) Guy Ritchie has assembled an eclectic batch of tunes from a variety of genres, including blissed out electronica (Mirwais' ''Disco Science''), old school funk (Bobby Byrd's ''Hot Pants (I'm Coming, Coming, I'm Coming''), and skewed pop reggae (10cc's ''Dreadlock Holiday''). The finished product plays like a cool mix tape of left field delights compiled by a music savvy buddy. Heck, you can even forgive Ritchie for including his new missus' hoary ''Lucky Star.''
