Dear Diary: The truth is that there's nothing much to confess in the made-for-tweens comedy Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Lindsay Lohan, who honed her talent for playing a bossy hip chick in ''Freaky Friday,'' again plays a bossy hip chick, Lola, whose biggest tragedy in an otherwise charmed life is that her bohemian mother (Glenne Headly) has moved the family from fab New York City to darkest suburban New Jersey. So Lola adopts the grating, sashaying demeanor of a big-city sophisticate who has been air-dropped into hicksville.
With no Jamie Lee Curtis as a volleying partner, though, Lohan's chipper energy is, like, so totally out of proportion given the colorless pliability of everyone around her. Hey, girl, the trains still run to Penn Station—what's the big whoop?
