Fortunately, as Bachelorette loyalists know, she who holds the power of the petal holds the power to send boys packing. And so, as host Chris Harrison (center) presided over the most dramatic first rose ceremony of the season, Jen cleaned house, eliminating the rude, the intoxicated, and the simply unmemorable.
