Foxx explained in a recent EW feature story what drew him to a gritty political thriller about an FBI investigation of a terror attack in Saudi Arabia: ''I knew [director] Pete [Berg] would make it fun,'' he said. ''He'd put enough light humor into it to make it really move as a movie, as opposed to a documentary or a here's-my-point-of-view movie.''
