Parker, Anderson strides across the sand looking as if the heads of newborn twins are just breaking the surface of her bathing suit,'' wrote EW's Ken Tucker in his surprising B+ review of the series. Okay, so maybe the plots took a backseat to the eye candy on this syndicated lifeguard drama — but as Anderson told EW in 1993, a lot of the scenes were shot in just one take (a cost-cutting measure). Who needs multiple camera angles when you've got that iconic red swimsuit?
