PEG BUNDY (KATEY SAGAL)
Married with Children
Peg makes slacking a form of art. She spends nearly every waking moment as a lazy stay-at-home-mom cliché: sitting on the couch, watching Oprah, popping bonbons, and taking breaks only to get her giant hair done or to beg her husband for sex. She won't cook or clean, and she shrieks in terror at the mere suggestion that she get a job. Like any artist, Peggy suffers for her craft, as she is forced to live solely off of Al's minimum wage shoe-salesman salary, but it's a small price to pay to live out her dream. ''I hate work,'' she once said. ''That's why I got married.'' Mike Bruno
