Travis, Cher Horowitz's chill skateboarding classmate, was a younger generation's Jeff Spicoli. You could catch him hanging out on the school's grassy knoll or at McDonald's ordering up a batch of Egg McMuffins. He wasn't exactly enterprising, but he still had a lot going for him. He was humble (''Tardiness is not something you can do on your own''), generous (he donated a bong to the Pismo Beach Disaster relief), and willing to work on his flaws — he joined "that steps program."
