Throughout his career, Grant has toyed with these opposite character types, yet somehow managed to ground them both in his irresistible charm. Yes, his adorkable characters in Four Weddings and a Funeral and Notting Hill are delightful to watch but so are his hysterically naughty wankers, like Bridget Jones's philandering Daniel Cleaver, or About a Boy's lying layabout Will Freeman.
