In Cameron Crowe's romantic comedy, Dillon showed off his sweet and funny side for the first time as Cliff, a not-too-bright grunge bassist who lives in the same Seattle apartment complex as his insecure girlfriend (Bridget Fonda, left). Playing members of Cliff's band were the real-life members of the early-career Pearl Jam.
