Ben Stiller's bad luck streak with animals (remember the cat in Meet the Parents and the ferret in Along Came Polly?) starts here with Puffy the Dog. Wired after eating amphetamines planted by the nefarious Pat (Matt Dillon), little Puffy leaps at poor Ted (Stiller), biting him in the crotch and elsewhere. A full wrestling match ensues, until one flying leap too many sends Puffy out the window — and into a full-body cast. To be fair, Puffy gets a raw deal throughout the movie; he's also sedated by Pat, who then sets him on fire while trying to revive him with a split electrical cord. Still, Puffy's bite is as bad as his bark.
