CLAY AIKEN
Sept. 19
He was the butt of jokes after appearing on last season's Idol finale
with dark, side-swept bangs that'd make k.d. lang jealous. Then it was
announced that the majority of his new disc, A Thousand Different Ways,
would feature covers of love songs, including Bryan Adams' groan-worthy
''Everything I Do (I Do It for You).'' Nonetheless, we never underestimate
Aiken's Idolatry his first CD, Measure of a Man, sold 2.8 million
copies. It appears those Claymates follow their leader no matter where
his hair takes them.
