Drive Me Crazy (1999)
Long before everyone swooned over superstar Vincent Chase (Adrien Grenier) and his loyal Entourage, I was falling for Chase Hammond, the ''rebel without a cause'' of Timothy Zonin High School. The plot: When the coolest girl in school, Nicole Maris (Melissa Joan Hart), needs a date for the formal, she sets her sights on the boy next door, Chase. So she takes him to the Gap to make him over to her liking, and then he magically rockets to popularity! Okay, okay, so it's really clichéd, and it's not something that would ever happen at any real high school, but I still watch my Drive Me Crazy DVD over and over again and smile. The acting isn't really up to par, and there aren't many laugh-out-loud moments, but in the end this teenage romantic comedy is just what we need it to be: fun. Lindsay Soll, editorial assistant
