Decades have passed since she first topped the charts, but Aretha Franklin is as commanding and fiery as ever. Unfortunately for everyone else in this segment, that makes her an exceedingly hard act to follow. Artists like Trin-i-Tee 5:7, the Clark Sisters, and Israel and New Breed couldn't help but seem anonymous when they joined in the chorus of praise. B-
