No Country for Old Men's Joel and Ethan Coen may be brilliant filmmakers, but when talking about their films in interviews — or acceptance speeches — they are men of few words. Especially Ethan (left), whose entire Best Adapted Screenplay speech was, ''We, uh, and thank you very much.'' Accepting the Best Director prize a few minutes later, he said, ''I don't have a lot to add to what I said earlier. Thank you.'' By the time the brothers won Best Picture, they both let producer Scott Rudin do all the talking.
