In Robert Altman's final film, about the last broadcast of a radio variety program, Lohan plays the depression-prone poet daughter of a singer (Meryl Streep). ''We did a lot of improv and I'm not used to that. Just watching the cast was a great learning experience,'' Lohan told EW about working on the movie. And her costars were just as enamored of her: ''She's so gifted it's shocking,'' Streep told EW. ''She sings this [one] number — she blows the doors off the place!''
