THE ROLE In this '80s-set romantic comedy, Sandler is Robbie Hart, a soft-hearted suburbanite whose fiancée stands him up at the altar; luckily, his true love, a waitress (Drew Barrymore) who works the same reception circuit his band plays, is right under his nose.
