DESPERATE SUPERWIFE
Who says Superman is just a guy thing? Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, ABC's hit 1993-97 series, played up the romance angle and made a pre-Desperate Housewives star out of Teri Hatcher. (Clark was played by the equally dreamy Dean Cain.) Lois & Clark also marked the beginning of DC's efforts to coordinate its Super-spin-offs with the storylines in the comics. So when Lane and Kent finally tied the knot on ABC, they did so in the comic book as well. And it only took 60 years of courtship for the happy couple to reach the altar.
